Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church Weekly Morning Prayer

Eternal God, the Creator of everything that exists, how great Thou are and how worthy is Your name to be praised. Father, we praise and thank You for sunrises and sunsets as we behold the beauty of Your holiness. Thank You for the forgiveness of our sins and the comfort of Your presence in our lives. Father, thank You for spiritual blessings, benefits, love, protection, provisions, shelter, and the safety You bestow on our loved ones. Father, if we had a thousand tongues, we could not thank You enough for all the simple things we take for granted. 

The grace You disperse, such as the breath in our lungs, a portion of our health, and the activity of our limbs and our senses. Father, transform our hearts, renew our spirits, and guide our thoughts, words, and deeds so that we may discern and follow Your will and ways. Thee and all blessings we ask in the majestic and precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
