For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works...EPHESIANS 2:10
SPOTLIGHT ON....Sharon Brady
On a frosty January day in 1962, amidst the swirling snow of Chicago, a precious gift was bestowed upon the world: the birth of Sharon. Like a delicate flower blooming in winter, she brought warmth and joy to all who knew her. Years later, guided by destiny's hand, she journeyed westward to the sun-drenched shores of Sacramento, California, in 1987. There, beneath the golden California sun, her life blossomed into a vibrant tapestry of love and family.
Sharon's path led her to a loving union, and from this bond sprang forth four beautiful children. Her family tree expanded, its branches laden with the sweet fruit of 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren! Each new arrival painted another stroke of joy onto the canvas of her life.
Even with a life brimming with activity, Sharon finds solace in quiet moments. She strolls along scenic paths, her thoughts carried by the breeze, and takes refreshing plunges into sparkling waters whenever the sun beckons. But above all, she finds true nourishment in the Word of God, a passion that ignited a desire to serve her church community. This led her to the welcoming embrace of the Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church Usher Board.
With open hearts and joyful voices, we extend a resounding WELCOME to Sister Sharon Brady, the newest radiant gem in the Mt. Pilgrim MBC family and a dedicated member of our Usher Board!
Pray for the sick and shut in and for all the families of Mt. Pilgrim collectively and individually. Pray that God will give them their heart’s desires. Pray that He will continue to bless us accordingly; pray and thank Him for provisions and shelter; pray that He will heal anyone from the illnesses overtaking them; pray that He will deliver us out of our storms, challenges and harmful and/or hurtful situations; spiritual, emotional, mental and physical; pray that our hearts and minds will be stayed on Him; pray that we will seek Him daily.
